Submission Guidlines
Note: E-mail entries are not accepted.
Who may submit: Currently enrolled students at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Submission Categories: Please Read Carefully!
| Fiction | Short stories not to exceed 20 pages, double-spaced |
| Poetry | Submit it in the form you wish it to appear in the magazine |
| Non-fiction | Both creative and analytical, not to exceed 20 pages, double-spaced Must be about a literary topic |
| One Act Plays | Not to exceed 25 pages, double-spaced |
| Art and Photography | Photographic illustrations, slides of other works, and pen & ink drawings. We make our front and back cover from the art submissions. |
How to Submit Works: Please Read Carefully!
| Submissions must be recieved by the deadline, usually the day before final exams begin in the Fall semester of each year (study day). |
| A $5 fee is required for one submission, and a $10 fee is required for up to five works. Make checks payable to the ASU Literary Society |
| All literary work must be submitted in typed hard copy. Artwork may be on disk (minimum resolution of 300) or in a format that permits scanning. No e-mail entries are accepted. |

| Do not put your name on submissions; however, please complete all information on the submission form and include it with your works. |
| Submit all works, including the submission form and submission fee, in an 8.5x11 or 10x13 sealed envelope clearly marked "Tributary", to the Department of English & Philosophy office located in Wilson Hall, Room 314. |
