Tributary Donations
Tributary is an annually published, on campus literary magazine consisting entirely of submissions from ASU students. Our publication provides students (both graduates and undergraduates) with the opportunity to have their writing and artwork peer-reviewed and published. Tributary accepts submissions of poetry, short fiction, nonfiction, and art (photography, drawings, paintings). It is printed every spring and distributed free-of-charge on campus and in the surrounding community.
Just in case you didn't know, the spring 2004 issue of Tributary was presented at the Arkansas College Media Association's conference in April and won the following awards:
| 1st Place- | General Excelllence Magazine |
| 1st Place- | Non-fiction |
| 1st & 3rd Place- | Photography |
| 2nd Place- | Magazine Cover` |
| 2nd Place- | Page Spread Design |
| 2nd Place- | Fiction |
And we plan to attend the ACMA conference and compete again in the spring of 2005
Even though Tributary is free to readers, the manufacturing cost averages about $2.50 per copy. The money used to meet the expenses of printing and binding the magazine comes from fund-raisers by the Literary Society, funding through the SGA, and from benefactors like YOU! Please consider supporting the 2005 issue of Tributary by donating to the ASU Literary Society. Donations may be given to our advisor, Dr. Tom Williams (Wilson 221D); our editor-in-chief, Sherry Ellis (Wilson 318); or the English Department Office (Wilson 313).
